Professional inspections

Professional inspection is one of the mechanisms provided for in the Professional Code enabling the professional orders to carry out their main function of protecting the public.

To that end, the Professional Inspection Department and the OIIAQ’s inspectors assist the Professional Inspection Committee (PIC) in fulfilling its mandate. These stakeholders ensure that LPNs comply with professional norms and standards and keep their knowledge up to date in order to provide high-quality nursing care.
